Original article (Chinese)

HKAML was registered by the Hong Kong Police Force on 27 June 2025. Within its first month it attracted fintech and blockchain companies, bringing together expertise to build an AML technology cooperation platform for Hong Kong and Asia. Coordinated operations and members' diverse technology and practical experience support AML work through technology and data.

The Alliance's existing core capabilities

Cross-chain data tracing: a platform jointly developed by member technology companies supports real-time analysis and location of virtual asset movements across chains and platforms.

Case coordination and emergency response: members draw on experience supporting financial and blockchain crime investigations, coordinating rapidly in response to new laundering methods and incidents.

Data sharing and analysis: members share resources and maintain multidimensional risk databases to support case analysis and identification.

Domestic and international enforcement coordination: contacts with Chinese police and overseas agencies support communication and resource coordination for cross-border cases.

BitJungle joins the Alliance

BitJungle is a blockchain security company focused on Web3, with capabilities including:

On-chain and stolen-asset tracing: the company reports assisting recovery of more than USD 150 million in digital assets. In the USD 1.5 billion Bybit theft in 2025, the article describes BitJungle as ranking first among Web3 security firms, ahead of CipherTraceher and zachXBT, which it identifies as working with the US government.

Complex case analysis: experience working with police on virtual asset cases supports cross-border tracing and in-depth analysis.

The Zhong Kui AI and big-data risk platform: full-chain tracing, cross-chain comparisons, suspicious-address profiling and fund-path reconstruction improve financial analysis efficiency.

A multi-location service network: offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Canada, the United States, Singapore and Japan support international case cooperation.

Integrating capabilities across the Alliance

Improved tracing efficiency: BitJungle's Zhong Kui system strengthens tracing across major and multiple chains, helping advance investigations.

Stronger complex-case capabilities: combining the Alliance's response and coordination systems with BitJungle's international experience improves handling of complex, cross-border and emerging laundering cases.

Upgraded AI and data analysis: BitJungle's technology supports more intelligent and precise identification of suspicious flows and new laundering patterns.

Deeper international cooperation: BitJungle's global network expands opportunities to work with regulatory, enforcement and financial institutions across jurisdictions.

Innovation in standards and services: advanced technology and methods support improved on-chain compliance, risk and data-security standards, alongside integrated institutional solutions.

How the Alliance supports BitJungle

Domestic investigative coordination: the Alliance's connections with Chinese police support compliance guidance, case introductions and evidence coordination for technical work on domestic cases.

International coordination: communication mechanisms with overseas regulatory and enforcement bodies connect BitJungle with judicial and financial systems for tracing and asset protection.

Cross-border resources: data sharing and cooperation enable access to more on-chain and off-chain information for coordinated work across countries and regions.

Industry visibility: the article describes the Alliance's endorsement and industry influence as supporting BitJungle's recognition and cooperation with financial institutions, enforcement bodies and digital asset platforms.

HKAML will continue working with companies to develop on-chain tracing, fund investigation and security risk-management platforms. BitJungle's participation broadens its technical and service capabilities for virtual asset investigations in Hong Kong and internationally.

With the Alliance's support, BitJungle will work with fellow members on global AML efforts and the responsible development of fintech compliance and innovation.

The Alliance believes sustained cooperation and innovation will strengthen its contribution to fighting money laundering and protecting the financial ecosystem.
