Research priorities

01

Global Trust Index

Using countries or regions as assessment units, the Global Trust Index examines the combined risks of fraud and crime in regional business activity and the effectiveness of governance and remedies. It aims to provide comparable risk assessment evidence for cross-border trade, investment and cooperation.

02

Mediation blockchain & digital certification

Blockchain technology supports intelligent evidence preservation and digital mediation, enabling digital confirmation and certification of dispute evidence, mediation processes and agreements. Real-time verification of key information and evidence, together with digital notarisation of important records, supports dispute resolution, judicial coordination and mutual recognition.

03

Standardisation & technical exchange

Research addresses digital identity and trust in agent payments, risk management and cross-system collaboration, using business use cases to clarify technical and commercial boundaries.

04

Trusted data spaces

Research explores electronic archiving and custody by authoritative institutions to support secure management and compliant use of sensitive data. It combines secure storage, privacy protection, anonymised use, certification, rights confirmation and judicial evidence preservation to align data protection with efficient use.
